Markéta Pekarová Adamová is a Czech political leader and public figure with extensive experience in democratic governance. She served as President (Speaker) of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and was the first woman to hold this constitutional office.

She was also a long-time member and former chairwoman of TOP 09, through which she played an active role in shaping Czech parliamentary politics and political culture. Trained in economics and social policy, she brings a structured, policy-oriented approach to leadership and institutional decision-making.

She currently works at KPMG, focusing on business development and international growth, where she applies experience gained in senior political leadership to complex organizational and cross-border environments.
